Watch Hugh Jackman audition to play Wolverine

Logan is finally released in theatres and with that, we bid farewell to Hugh Jackman who played Wolverine for 17 years now.
The character was first introduced in X-Men which was released in 2000, and since then Jackman has reprised the role in every movie in the series, whether it would be a brief cameo like the ones we saw in First Class and Apocalypse or the Wolverine spin-off movies.
There has remained one constant throughout these movies, whether the movie was bad or not and that is Hugh Jackman’s role as Wolverine.
In every movie, Jackman stole the show and was the highlight, truly embodying the true nature of the popular character.
Beginning as a nobody, this role propelled Jackman into stardom, but to fans he will always be remembered as Wolverine.
Let us revisit the old audition tapes of Jackman, as he reads for Wolverine in the first X-Men movie. Little does he know at this point, he will become a legend in the industry and he will always be remembered.
Thank you, Hugh Jackman, for the years spent as Wolverine. It was a role that could be played by no other.
