Upcoming Documentary Above and Beyond: NASA’s Journey to Tomorrow Explores The Far Reaches Of Our Solar System
Deadline have reported that the upcoming documentary Above and Beyond: NASA’s Journey to Tomorrow will receive a limited theatrical release before premiering on the Discovery Channel in October. The theatrical release will be organised by Fathom Events, an entertainment content provider known for arranging screenings in US cinemas.
Above and Beyond: NASA’s Journey to Tomorrow will chronicle the decades the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has spend exploring our solar system, as well as the important work the organisation does here on Earth, such as studying climate change and monitoring the skies and seas. The film was directed by Oscar nominee Rory Kennedy, and seeing as the Trump administration recently cut NASA’s funding for monitoring greenhouse gases, this could actually be one of the most relevant documentaries of the year. Screenings have been set for September 29th and October 3rd.
