An evening at Press Play's 'On the Roof'

Press Play 'On the Roof' is located on top of Broadway House. We took in a movie with a wonderful view of London.
Based on the Nicholas Sparks' book, The Notebook was the venue’s choice of film for the day. Directed by Nick Cassavetes and starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, the film follows the extraordinary romantic and dramatic story of Allie and Noah. They are a young couple from South Carolina who fall in love but they are separated by their families.
The story is divided in two different timelines: one in the past, the other in the present. The movie explores how the characters find a way to get together, and how the past connects to the present. Although a litte cheesy at points, it is still a romantic and entertaining drama.
The venue was lovely, the staff were excellent and each guest even got free popcorn, what more could you ask for? Press Play's Summer Series aims to create an innovative pop-up film experiences that capture an audience by breaking the boundaries of conventional cinema screenings. It's a great way to spend an evening.
