Adele has recorded the opening theme for the next James Bond film, Skyfall.
The multi-award winning singer, who has recently announced details concerning the tone to her third album, has long hinted at providing the theme for the latest Bond outing, which will see Daniel Craig’s Bond go up against bad-guy Javier Bardem.
The track, also called Skyfall, will be Adele’s first since her highly awarded, multi-million second album 21, which was released in January of last year.
Adele will be the latest British artist to be given the honor, following on from artists such as Tom Jones, Dame Shirley Bassey, Garbage and Sir Paul McCartney, whose song Live and Let Die from the 1973 film was recently voted the best Bond theme of all time.
Skyfall is released November 11 nationwide.
