Review: Horrible Bosses

Jason Bateman greets us again in another comedy which certainly isn’t light-hearted! The three friends in the film all have one thing in common; bosses that they despise. One night after hanging out in a bar together, the friends agree to have their bosses killed. Each boss is marked with an individual name. Bateman’s boss played by Kevin Spacey is referred to as a ‘pyscho’, whereas the other two bosses are branded as a ‘man eater’ and ‘tool’, which are played by Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell.
The three friends then seek out professional help from a suppos-ed ‘killer’, enacted by Jamie Foxx. The three friends pay Foxx a large sum of money to help them out, only to find later find out that he was not in fact a killer, but had served jail time for video piracy. Unluckily for the three men, they continue to plot away at their mission and assign each other to kill the other’s boss.
Unexpectedly, during the film, one of the three friends leaves another boss’ phone at one of the psycho’ boss’ house, leaving him to find it. The ‘psycho’ boss then goes round the other boss’ house to confront him and shot him. The three friends astonished by the murder, then decide to confront Spacey at his surprise birthday party to only then be blackmailed by Spacey.
But do not despair, as all is not doom and gloom for the three friends! Spacey is eventually arrested by the police, and all of the friends eventually go back to working in a better environment. So get your friends round, crack some beers open, and lay back to enjoy this comedy- it is sure to make you laugh!
