Janelle Monae front runner to play Domino in Deadpool sequel!

With Logan out of the way now, Fox can now pay attention on the sequel to the popular franchise Deadpool.
It is evident that there is a casting search to add the popular Domino into the mix with Cable in the upcoming film.
Many actresses have reportedly been mentioned in conjunction with the search for Domino such as MacKenzie Davis and Scandal star, Kerry Washington.
However, according to a report from That Hashtag Show, it seems that Janelle Monae may now be rumoured to be the frontrunner for the role.
Monae is relatively new to the acting gig however her first two roles have been quite impactful. She was featured in two Best Picture nominated movies, Hidden Figures and Moonlight, with Moonlight winning the award. So, Monae may be new but she surely is accomplished.
Domino's real name is Neena Thurman, a mutant mercenary as well as an ally and love interest of Cable.
Deadpool 2 will reportedly be released on March 2nd 2018 in the USA.
