First picture of The Beast from X:Men: Days of Future Past released

Bryan Singer gave X:Men and comic book fans a suprise when he tweeted the first image of The Beast from his new film X:Men: Days of Future Past. Alongside with the picture, Singer wrote, Many a monster wears the form of a man; it is better of the two to have the heart of a man & the form of a monster, 'Many a monster wears the form of a man: it is the better of the two to have the heart of a man & the form of a monster'. The picture is thought to be of Nicolas Hoult who is is reprising the character of Hank McCoy or The Beast. However the picture could be actually be Kelsey Grammer who played a much older Hank in X:Men: The Last Stand. Whoever is behind the make-up, the latest installment in the X:Men franchise is set to be the biggest one yet, which both new and old cast members such as Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Hugh Jackman as well as James McAovy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence.
The film is due to be released on July 18th 2014.
