BAFTA Film Awards 2013

3 weeks ago the British Acadamy Film Awards took place in  The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Piccadilly, London. BAFTA supports, promotes and develops the art forms of the moving image - film, television and video games from the UK and US - by identifying and rewarding excellence, inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public. This year's award winners are put in the following list for you.

- Ben Affleck: Best Film for Argo

- Anne Hathaway: Best Supporting Actress for Les Miserables

- Daniel Day-Lewis: Best Leading Actor for Lincoln

- Christoph Waltz: Best Supporting Actor for Django Unchained

- Juno Temple: Rising Star

- Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman: Best Animated Film for Brave

- Diarmid Scrimshaw and Peter Carlton: Best Short Film for Swimmer

- William Goldenberg: Best Editing for Argo

- Jacqueline Durran: Best Costume Design for Anna Karenina

- Ang Lee: Best Cinematography for Life of Pi which he accepted on behalf of Claudio Miranda

- Robert Wade, Sam Mendes, Barbara Broccoli, Michael G Wilson and Neal Purvis: Outstanding British Film for Skyfall

- David O Russell: Best Adapted Screenplay for Silver Linings Playbook

- John Warhurst, Lee Walpole, Jonathan Allen, Mark Paterson, Andy Nelson and Simon Hayes: Best Sound for Les Miserables

- Simon Chinn and Malik Bendjelloul: Best Documentary for Searching for Sugar Man

- Tessa Ross: Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema

- Sir Alan Parker: The BAFTA Fellowship

- Anna Lynch-Robinson and Eve Stewart: Production Design for Les Miserables
