Is Poker Face going to be the new Blue Steel?

Lady Gaga has reputedly been approached to be in the highly anticipated sequel to Zoolander.
Few details have been released as yet, but the singer has apparently been offered somewhere in the region of $4.8 million to play the love interest of Derek Zoolander, with Ben Stiller again taking up his role as the hapless male model. Gaga has had bit parts in TV and film in the past, but Zoolander would certainly be the most high-profile. Other famous faces on the shortlist for this role are said to include Kate Moss, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima.
Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell are both involved again, reprising their parts from the 2001 film. Stiller has said of the sequel: “It's ten years later and most of it is set in Europe. I don't want to give away too much, but it's basically Derek and Hansel ten years later”. Filming is scheduled to commence sometime next year. This move into major cinema will not be Gaga’s first: she is due to make her theatrical film debut with the upcoming film Machete Kills, shooting for which was completed in July.
However, this isn’t all the eccentric star has in the pipeline. She is apparently launching a diet water drink in the near future – recent media attention over her weight has supposedly been a marketing scheme. Quite what “diet water” comprises is a bit of a mystery, but then again, Gaga has never been one to shy away from the weird and wonderful, has she?
