Welcome to the world of extreme highlining
This short film follows the adventures of a group of what can only be truly described as mad French adrenalin junkies, as they traverse from cliff faces and mountains of unimaginable heights.
Highlining involves crossing two points on a tightened slackline whilst being attached by a harness to ensure that if you fall it won’t be your last. At ground level, slacklining doesn’t seem that interesting or challenging… I mean its just walking across a piece of rope. However when the background is the French Alps mountain face and the drop is a good two to three hundred metres, it suddenly becomes evident that this is not for the faint hearted. Filmed over an 18 month period, the film is a short collection of some of their highlights, put together so well that by the end you’re already weighing up the idea of trying this out yourself, so do not watch if you have a tendency to be easily influenced.
