The bearded beatbox wonder is gracing us with his skills at KOKO
If there is anything that you may have possibly planned to do on the 22nd of September, cancel it. Nothing you would be doing could possibly be better than subjecting yourself to the sheer glory that is a Beardyman show, as he headlines Soundcrash at Camden’s notorious KOKO.
The two time world champion beatboxer is guaranteed to deliver nothing short of a set that will blow you away: his incredible live voice mixing on a collection of mind-boggling software and his brilliant sense of humour provide him with such exceptional charisma on stage, and naturally creates such an exceptional performance.
It’s not just that fact that he’s received such critical acclaim, or that he’s made such a name of himself in the beatboxing world; Let’s put aside his incredible Youtube achievements or that fact that he headlined the first ever live concert on the Internet alongside Katy Perry. The reason why Beardyman is so great is that at every show that he plays he’s bringing something fresh to his act; something that the audience wouldn’t have heard before or expect, but that never fails to be amazing. I personally have seen Beardyman at every festival I’ve been to since Glastonbury 2009, and every year he has put on a better show than the last. Doesn’t matter if it’s a crowd of 2000 people or 200 people, inside or outside, he will always play a gig that will be up there with some of the best live performances you’ll ever see.
But it’s no good just reading all the hype from me, you’re gonna have to save the date and get tickets for the real experience…
