Is Ashton Kutcher the right person to play Steve Jobs?

In June 2012 production began for the biographical film ‘Jobs’ which is of course based on the life of Steve Jobs. The movie was inevitable, with the death of the Apple CEO in October 2011, but the surprise came when it was announced that Ashton Kutcher will be taking on the lead role.
Some may have scoffed at the idea of Kutcher taking on this part, as his work hasn’t really been up to scratch since ‘That 70’s show’ and ‘Punk’d’, however recent images showing Kutcher in costume as Jobs suggests that this movie role could actually work.
The image, showing Kutcher in Jobs’ trademark outfit of jeans, white shirt and a sleeveless cardigan, shows that his likeness to Jobs is in fact eerily precise. The movie depicts Jobs’ career at the Apple cooperation from 1971 to 2000 so Kutcher plays a young Steve Jobs’. With the floppy side-parted hair and lopsided smile, Kutcher is the perfect person to play Jobs. This movie has all the elements to be a complete success, as it will portray Jobs’ rise and fall as the Apple CEO, so hopefully it will revive Ashton Kutcher’s career and provide us with a blockbuster.
