The heartless Boris the animal escapes from his jail on the moon. The vengeful monster has two missions: get rid of Agent K who captured him and, of course, get rid of Planet Earth. Meanwhile, Agent K and Agent J encounter relationship issues with each other; Agent J wants to know what made Agent K so impervious to all the joy and sadness surrounding him. But all their troubles and disagreements disappear when Agent K disappears. Indeed, one morning nobody seems to remember who Agent K is except Agent O who announces Agent J that Agent K got killed about 47 years ago. Agent J needs to get to the bottom of this.
Men In Black III is friendship wrapped in humour, and topped with a sentimental layer. Not saying that Men In Black III is the best of this trilogy, but people can have a nice time and maybe shed a salty tear in their sweet pop-corn. Will Smith fans should grab a ticket as soon as possible. There is no blood, just sticky slimy substance coming from the aliens when killed. No sex, just a nasty kiss from an alien to another so Men In Black III can easily entertained the kiddos. The big plus in Men In Black III is that part of the plot takes place in the New York in 1969. Therefore there are a lot of hilarious references, ranging from Andy Warhol to the Black Panthers.
The starring actors nail their characters perfectly. Will Smith is the same Agent J but much more confident, while Tommy Lee Jones’s legendary Agent-K-no-emotion face is still on point. Josh Brolin (young version of Agent K) is on point as well. Also, I was wondering, is Emma Thompson (Agent O) Hillary Clinton's hidden little sister - or is that just me? The resemblance in the movie is striking! The big thumb-up of the movie: Michael Stuhlbarg. His character, Griffin. A small and nice alien able to see and calculate probability of things to happen in a near and far future. Griffin is a sick concept that put the movie on another dimension. Agent O definitely should hire him in the MIB and the director Barry Sonnenfeldmake should make a Men In Black 4 starring Griffin!
Should you go to the cinema to watch MIB III, rent the dvd or buy the dvd? It's best to experience it in the cinema, if not to see (the-more-than-handsome) Will, or do it to enjoy the 3D effect.
P.S. Can you guess who the surprise guest of the MIB 3 soundtrack is? Agent P as in Pit Bull! Do you think he holds the summer hit 2012?
