Marley Documentary Coming Soon

The documentary is nearly with us with April around the corner and with us following Bob Marley through marriage, affairs, children, politics, exhile and finally cancer, we see his rise from an average person to an international star.
The Oscar winning director Kevin MacDonald travelled from the USA to Japan making stops in Jamaica, Ghana and the UK to get the essence of Bob Marley, how he lived his life and what his influence was on the world. The film is full of trivia and stories which is ideal for hardcore Bob Marley fans. The film features rare footage, performances and relevant interviews with the people who knew him best.
"I remember I said to Ziggy the first time he talked about it, he said, "How are you going to tell the story?" and I said, "Well, I don’t know. We should go out and talk to everybody who’s willing to talk to us who was intimate with Bob and will tell us something" and then figure out from what they said what the story should be" Macdonald explained. “And that way, I guess, we discovered all sorts of new things."
