iLL Manors To Make The Unknown Famous...

The unknown refers to Anouska Mond, an actor who is set to appear on iLL Manors. This is the new film that has been created by Plan B (real name Ben Drew). Due to be released on 4th May, this film has been dubbed the first British rap musical.
The two met back in 2008 when they were both unknown and who would have ever thought that an audition for a short film would lead to this 29 year olds debut and probable spot in the limelight? Mond played Michelle in the short film called Michelle and two years later was called to play the same part in the feature film. Despite six auditions, Mond says that the part was always hers. Ben just wanted her to prove it. So when iLL Manors hits the screens in May, we’ll see Mond play the role of Michelle, a crack- addicted, violently abused street prostitute.
iLL Manors entwines six stories together and is set in East London’s Forest Gate, where Drew grew up. His hopes are that this film will highlight the violence and poverty that drive teens to crime.
