Other | Monday 12th February 2018 | David

Award-winning war photographer Chris Hondros captured images of some of the deadliest conflicts in the word before being killed by a mortar attack in Libya. The new documentary Hondros, which won the Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival, was directed by Hondros' lifelong friend Greg Campbell, who embarks on a journey to discover what drove his deceased companion to takes photos of such terrible events.

The film was produced by Hollywood A-listers Jamie Lee Curtis and Jake Gyllenhaal, and if you happen to be in the London area next month, keep in mind that the director will be hosting a question and wanders session followed by a screening on the second of March at the Bertha DocHouse cinema, which is located near Russell Square tube station. Book your tickets here.

If you cannot make it to that particular event, Hondros will be released digitally by Freestyle Digital Media on March 6. Watch the harrowing trailer below.
