Rough basslines, fast breaks: Hospitality festival was massive!

Drum and Bass | Tuesday 26th September 2017 | Arren

Stepping out of Finsbury Park station on Saturday you were greeted by a heavy bass murmuring in the distance and hordes of ravers being directed by incredibly joyful stewards to the biggest drum & bass gathering in the UK this year.

There’s only one thing we could be about, Hospitality In The Park, which returned to Finsbury Park for its second ever festival. From the get go positive vibes filled the air and brought together a sick crowd of drum & bass heads for one mad party. Though with a lineup as tight as it was, we couldn’t really expect anything less.

From the mind-blowing New Forms show from Roni Size, London Elektricity’s Big Band extraordinaire, the heavy AF Critical showcase, the return of the mighty Clipz or the explosive back to back session between TC & Metrik: Hospitality In The Park catered for all your drum & bass needs.

Let It Roll kitted themselves out with a sick setup flown in specially from Prague. Fabriclive blacked out their stage making the outdoor tent feel more like a club, and the Hospitality tent was just a big epic space to fit the scale of its bill.

As all-day festival’s do, the event finished up as fast as it started. Though we definitely got our drum & bass fix, till next time big up Hospitality!
