Tom Cruise to return for Mission: Impossible 5

Following the critical and commercial success that is Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Tom Cruise has signed a deal with Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions to produce a fifth instalment in the series, as well as reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
Details for the film are scarce so far, with Deadline confirming Tom Cruise’s involvement, but not disclosing who is writing and directing or when the release date may be. Christopher McQuarrie (who directed Cruise in Jack Reacher) previously revealed via a tweet that he was asked to direct, but has not made a decision.
