Jason Bateman? Funny. Alexander Skarsgård? Sexy. Marc Jacobs? Classy.
However it turns out that I was wrong expecting Disconnect to reflect the reputation of its cast.
Disconnect appears to be the first thriller movie in years of which the trailer actually made me shiver. Not because it involves a scary psycopath or some M. Night Shyamalan style storyline, because it is about something that affects me - and you, and all of us - directly. It is about how online social media can affect our life and/or the life of people we care about. It raises the fact that when our "virtual" life meets our real life, it doesn't systematically look pretty.

There is no official UK release date announced for Disconnect yet, but I think it's worth keeping an eye on.
