'Catching Fire' Trailer to debut during MTV Movie Awards

Fans of Suzanne Collin's dytopian series The Hunger Games were hyperventialting last night when a seven second teaser for the sequel 'Catching Fire' was released as part of an advert for the MTV Movie Awards which will be aired on the 14th April. Fans were treated to new scenes which included a quick shot of Academy award winner Jennifer Lawrence, who is reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen.
"The victors of the 74th Hunger Games: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark" an announcer tells the awaiting crowd. The scene in question happens at the beginng of Collin's novel as both Katniss and Peeta (Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson) embark on a victory tour, visiting all the districts within the fictional country of Panem. The trailer unfortunately only shows the backs of Lawrence, Hutcherson and Elizabeth Banks, who returns as the eccentric Effie Trinket.
The full teaser trailer will be shown, with the help of Liam Hemsworth, who plays Katniss' other love interest Gale Hawthorne, during the annual MTV Movie Awards which will be hosted by Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson.
