Jam This In Your Pipe And Smoke It

Other | Thursday 27th September 2012 | Osh

Well-renowned Restaurant chain, ‘The Jam Tree’ opened up a new venue in Clapham last night and it was notably planned down to the finest detail. Very friendly staff gave us a warm welcome at the door. The Andy Warhol-esque décor kept for an interesting aesthetic; there was a large replica of Warhol’s Marilyn behind the bar except, replace Marilyn with Jam Jars. But by far the most excellently entertaining part of the interior was the secret passageway through to the back of the restaurant that was located behind a bookshelf. Very villain’s secret lair.

The Jam theme remained prominent with a list of Jam-related cocktails served in little Jam Jars. Very quaint. The food was deliciously familiar whilst remaining unusual; I realise that is an oxymoron but bear with us here. The restaurant gives the description of ‘Colonial’ food so that it includes everything from samosas to goats cheese tartlets as well as Jerk Chicken making for an excitingly unanticipated meal.

Here at Guestlist we highly recommend South Londoners head here for a nice meal or just a drink in their Beer Garden. Its individuality, as well as its excellent customer service, speaks for itself.
