Thor 2 - The Dark World finally hits the big screen

Last month saw the return of Marvel Studios hulking superhero Thor in the blockbuster Thor 2: The Dark World. The film sees the crown prince of Asgard keep to his promise of reuniting with love interest Jane Foster, played by the lovely Natalie Portman. In this sequel, Thor forms a tense but necessary alliance with adversary and adopted brother Loki portrayed by the talented Tom Hiddlestone; they combat the Dark Elves led by super-villain Malekith in a battle of peace in the Nine Realms.
Directed by American Alan Taylor, previously known for his work on episodes of hit series Mad Men and Game of Thrones, and in talks to direct the Terminator movie expected in 2015, the sequel not only sees the return of lead actor Chris Hemsworth as hammer-wielding hero Thor, but plenty British and American film stars such as; Idris Elba, Ray Stevenson, Kat Dennings, Jaime Alexander and veterans Anthony Hopkins and Rene Russo. This is a must see for all fans of the series as our hero Thor again sacrifices himself for the Midgard’s safety against otherworldly threats. Be sure to make time out in your weekend for the ultimate experience in muscles and magic, comics and comedy served on a platter of brutal and brawny action.
