Fabric to close this weekend
In what's been a really sad week for London's club land and the whole party scene in general, Fabric is set to close this weekend folllowing two deaths at the venue due to drug overdoses.
In a statement released on their site, Fabric stated "In order to understand how this has happened we have agreed with the police and other agencies to suspend our operation whilst we investigate. The club will therefore be closed this weekend. We will make a further statement next week but in the meantime for anyone who has purchased a ticket for the club this weekend, we have instructed Resident Advisor to refund all ticket purchases"
The closure follows the tension at the end of 2015, when Fabric was threatened with closure due to licensing. When they won their battle with Islington council to stay open, the future looked brighter for London's clubbing scene.
We're looking forward to seeing Fabric up and running again soon.
