Sofi de la Torre shares the visuals for her fierce new single 'Sit Down', out on June 10th.
Following the release of her Mess EP last year, Sofi’s return is marked by more electronic beats and a Scandi-pop inclination inspired by her collaboration with Finnish producer Jonas Karlsson - all of which sits within her signature #popdoneright sound. The empowering 'Sit Down' is a compelling blend of seductive vocals, brazen lyrics, R&B influences and mellow production.
She explains that the song "is so liberating…not just for me - for anyone out there who feels they have something to say about any situation that bothers them. We all know a person who needs to sit the fuck down. The world is full of petty people. And this song is their anthem”.
Involved in every part of the creative process, Sofi de la Torre brings a DIY aesthetic to her brand of pop and this is abundantly clear on 'Sit Down'.
