S.M.I are putting their own spin on grime

Streets Made Innovators, aka S.M.I, drop 'Dubz' a minimal bass guitar driven remix of Jammz’ ‘Hit Then Run’.
This London duo of Vandol and Carnage put their own spin on grime by using live instrumentation - they record their own live beats and instruments to produce a raw and stripped back sound for MCs to jump on or to add vocal tracks to.
Hidden away in a north London studio for most of January 2016, the pair have already recorded an EPs worth of remixes as they take on some of the UK’s most recent bangers. The first of which, Wiley’s ‘One Step Further’ dropped in December last year, was well received, and now they're back with 'Dubz', their twist on a Jammz track.
