What To Watch This Week - 30th November Other | Monday 30th November 2015 | Sam What To Watch 1st December - Attack on Titan: Part 1 and 2 (Shinji Higuchi) Live-Action | Action | Adventure | Drama | Fantasy One night only - Shinji Higuchi brings the much-loved anime, 'Attack on Titan' to life in this live-action take on one of the most popular series to come out of Japan in recent years. If you are someone who does not enjoy reading subtitles, then this is not for you... although by this point I'd question why you'd have any interest in this as the original series was all in Japanese anyway. Expect fast-paced action scenes, lots of gore, and some questionable CGI! 3rd December - Victor Frankenstein (Paul McGuigan) Drama | Horror | Sci-Fi James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe star as Dr Frankenstein and assistant Igor in a fresh twist on a class tale. Featured as one of our films of the month, this new twist on the Frankenstein saga promises to give you a fresh perspective to view the downfall of the mad Dr from - that of the hunchbacked assistant, Igor. 4th December - Chemsex (William Fairman & Max Gogarty) Documentary Another feature on our films of the month section, Chemsex is a frank documentary revealing the dark side of modern gay life in London. An exposé on the underworld of gay sex involving heavy drugs and weekend long sex parties, we are introduced to a man desperately trying to escape the scene, and a health worker on a mission to save them. Heavy stuff. The Night Before (Jonathan Levine) Comedy This Seth Rogen/ Joseph Gordon-Levitt led project is ANOTHER film coming out this week featuring on our films of the month list. After realising they’re getting old, Isaac and his two mates decide to go looking for the ultimate Christmas party (fuelled by a drug package given to him by his wife) and in typical stoner-comedy fashion, things career completely off-the-rails. 5th December - Essex Boys: Law of Survival (Steven M. Smith) Crime | Drama | Action Limited release - Danny, an ex-street thug takes on the Essex Underworld after they turn his life upside down. Ohhhh yes! This is EXACTLY the kind of film Essex needs to turn it into the Hollywood of British cinema! All we need is Danny Dyer and we've got the ultimate hooligan party!
