Other | Thursday 9th July 2015 | Annalisa

House Party is 25 years old this year! On Sunday 19th July, at the Tabernacle Theatre, Notting Hill, Cine Movies will be holding a special 'Pyjama Jam' themed screening, where you get to watch House Party on a state of the art cinema screen & theatre, surrounded by comfy pillows and blankets.

The dress code is 'House Party II - Pyjama Jam', so feel free to dress up and relive all the fun of Kid 'N' Play and hip-hop in the 90's.

Get your tickets here or via the Tabernacle Theatre website. The film starts 8pm sharp. (Certificate 15)

To commemorate this very special event, Cine Movies have called on some of our favourite artists, actors and comedians, to reminisce over one of the most important and iconic films of the 1990's.

Big Narstie - Grime Artist
"I, SMELL, PUSSSSSY! [laughs]. Another thing as well... Gyal can't be telling man on the road that he has dragon breath. That's some parr-age."

Richard Blackwood - Actor and Comedian
"'House Party' was the catalyst for my generation in terms of urban comedy. Films like 'Friday', 'Bootycall' etc... all followed this blueprint and 'House Party' is still one of the best films of that genre."

Jacob Banks - Singer
"This film is actually older than me, so the first couple of times I saw it, it was already old anyway. But the party scene, the famous Kid 'N Play scene, looks like it could happen today. We're trying to recapture that era again. The clothes... I call it homeless chic [laughs]. The style... Every Ghanaian brudda I know, is rocking the high-top... With pride! The high-top back. In fact, the very first time I saw a high-top was on Kid."

Arnold Oceng - Actor and Rapper
"It reminds of a time when house parties were REALLY fun, house parties... It reminds me of my childhood when i watch it."

What's your favourite memory of House Party?
