Hinge launches in London

Hinge is the latest dating app to take on Tinder. Its unique selling point is the idea that you meet people through your mutual friends. Once you have signed up through Facebook, Hinge pairs you with a set of friends-of-friends every day at noon. The attraction of meeting real people / friends who share a ‘Hinge’ or mutual friend is that you can be reasonably sure that they are not some random person – ‘No randos,’ as the website says and potentially you'll even have a few things in common already.
Hinge hasn’t arrived in the UK but they launch soon and if you invite a friend to the app you stand a chance of being invited to Hinge’s London launch party. With an interface that is easily as slick as Tinder, and an already strong user base in the States, Hinge looks set to take the UK by storm.
