Ninja Turtles main cast finalised

Amidst controversy for the shortening of its name, the “revamped” origins of its characters, and the casting of Megan Fox, Ninja Turtles has managed to round up its cast for the 4 titular characters.
The film, which is produced by the ever destructive Michael Bay (the Transformers series) and directed by the nearly-as-destructive Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans, Battle: Los Angeles), is a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise and will reportedly see the turtles being of alien origin instead of mutating after being exposed to toxic ooze. The 4 lead characters – Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo will be played by Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson and Noel Fisher, respectively. Megan Fox has also been cast as April O’Neil, a move that is criticised by Peter Laird, the creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
Not sure about you guys, but I personally can’t get myself worked up about this film, mostly due to the less-than-stellar past work from both the director and the producer. Still, this might end up being decent mindless popcorn entertainment.
