Reggae and Ska Revival in Islington

Huge names will be gracing Islington town hall this Summer season. We have seen a dip in the amount of reggae that is being played live about London. There are many DJ nights in Shoreditch, and East London areas but few elsewhere. After seeing the British Reggae Awards last month, I felt a revival was necessary and low and behold, we have just discovered a whole stream of fantastic reggae nights here at Islington Assembly Hall. A venue situated in the heart of North London on Upper Street usually home to the civilised elite will be blasted by a confetti explosion of The Selector, Zion Train, Talisman, Black Uhuru, Culture, Abyssinians, Jah Wobble, Janet Kay, and hundreds more. As well as these, Islington will play host to bands in the genre of the all popular RnB and rock, including Nazareth and James Hunter. Look out for the next event which will be The Troggs playing tomorrow night!
