The Lesbian, Baron Cohen’s new project

Friday 5th October 2012 | Shavy

British Comedy actor, Sacha Baron Cohen, partners with Paramount to recreate the story of the Hong Kong tycoon who offered $65 million to the man who can "re-convert" his lesbian daughter.

After the huge success of his latest movie, The Dictator, Baron Cohen will now act in a film inspired by the story of Cecil Chao, a Hong Kong billionaire who offered $65m (£40m) to the man who succeeded in marrying his lesbian daughter. I would like to add that the 76 year old father is known for dating much younger women and never been married.

We still don't know who's going to write this true story that shocked everyone, and that shows how some cultures still need to work on their LGTB rights and awareness. I can't imagine Ellen DeGeneres' father asking for a random guy who can make her get rid of Portia De Rossi, there are some things that money just can't buy.

Baron Cohen will produce the Paramount Picture film through his company Four By Two. Baron Cohen was declared comedian of the year by GQ last month. His latest movie The Dictator made $177m (£109m) worldwide and he is currently working on a 007 spoof.

We hope the The Lesbian gets the same blasts of laughter as The Dictator, which we were very entertained by.  The least I expect him to do is blow my mind again.

By the way, Cecil Chao, good luck with that! -and yes, that was sarcasm.

Enjoy the funniest scene from The Dictator. What's your real name?
