Tim Burton has made a few questionable moves recently and he has turned a few fans offside. Mainly because he insists on recycling his relationship with Mr. Johnny Depp, something that most are entirely bored of, despite how genius the pair may be together. Well, for those of us who miss the days of his crazy inventions such as ‘Edward Scissorhands’ or his signature animation seen in ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’, he has a new (well sort of) one for us.
Frankenweenie 3D is a stop-motion animation about a resurrected dog who creates havoc for his young owner that has brought him back to life. It is based on a short film the Tim Burton made years ago whilst he was a young man working for Disney but he has now developed into a feature length presentation. It includes voices from Burton’s old favourite Winona Ryder as well as Martin Short and luckily for us it is opening London Film Festival on 10th of October. Unluckily it sold out in a matter of seconds but we are hoping they might release a few more screening dates due to popular demand.
So start demanding and keep updated with all the amazing screenings at the London Film Festival website. See the trailer for Frankenweenie below.
