Spoilers: The Worst Of The Internet
Friday 11th October 2013 | Lauren
The worst day to go on the internet, without doubt, is the day after the final of a TV programme you have yet to see. The panicked feeling you go through when you accidentally log on to twitter, forcing you to log out at lightning speed. You are completely banned from Tumblr, from Facebook and from any news website. All day is spent as a nervous wreck; not only can you not talk to people in real life, but the virtual people who seem to live in your phone are a no-no too.
You have to spend your day like it's back in the nineties. No internet, and not having a clue what's going on in the world for HOURS. It's horrific... and all because you missed the season finale.
So don't you agree that there should be a dedicated internet rule? The day after a series finale, no one should speak of what happened, just wait 24 hours until everyone's had a fair chance to see it, and then, by all means, go nuts. Talk about it all day long if you want. But, for the love of God, never less than 24 hours after it has been released.
