Big Sean Releasing New Track
In an interview earlier this week, Detroit rapper Big Sean revealed that he will be releasing a track with hip-hop heavyweight and fellow Detroit rapper, Eminem.
April saw the ‘Clique’ rapper tweet a picture of the two in the studio and confirmed this week that a collaboration is well in the works. During the interview, Sean spoke of the “cool” Em and when they met in the studio how he could only “hear a couple of songs – I’m in a hurry” but in the end listened to whole album, “front to back”. Clearly flattered about the extra time Slim Shady spent with Sean, the rapper claimed Em stated “he’d never been so surprised, but the album is real good.”
Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely that the Big Sean/Eminem collab will happen in time for Big Sean’s upcoming album, Hall Of Fame. He stated “We were trying to make a collab work for my album but due to timing issues, it’s probably not gonna work out” but he has left us on the edge of our seats letting us know that “you’ll get a collab though, just probably won’t be for Hall Of Fame.”
Big Sean has also been busy in the UK recently working with his new “diva” friend, Jessie J. Her new hit track ‘Wild’ features vocals from UK artist Dizzee Rascal and also Big Sean. Integrating himself more into the UK music industry, Sean let the cat out of the bag revealing that a collab with UK sensation, Tinie Tempah, is on the way. He jubilantly said they have “definitely got something coming” together… we’ll be waiting on that track eagerly!
