Protoje returns to the UK this May

Known for his magnetic and powerful stage presence that likely results from his ragga and dancehall days, Protoje is currently one of the most popular reggae stars.

Equipped with a unique style of lyrical delivery, you could say he has an almost militant hip hop style rhythm to his singing. This is especially apparent in his first album Lyrical Overdose Vol 1 which was released in 2005, making him an easy stand out him from the traditional reggae crowd. Since then he has adapted his rhythmical delivery into a slightly more traditional reggae style and toned down his lyrics for an undoubtedly wider appeal.

Having recently worked with other top quality artists such as Chronixx and Kymani Marley, his most successful and well known track 'Rasta Love' feat Kymani Marley gained over 30 million youtube views!

But the reggae star is not showing any signs of slowing down on his ‘Blxxdclxxt’ tour that features Savana, with the UK leg of the tour kicking off on May the 12th.

The London gig at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire will be his last performance of the tour, so make sure you grab your tickets now!
