Eyes of a Killer - Film's Most Evil Villains

Other | Friday 1st April 2016 | Arash

One of the key aspects of making a great film is to have a great villain. If the villain of the film is not on point, then the entire feel of the movie tends to fall flat. So here at Guestlist we’ve compiled a list of some of the greatest movie villains throughout the ages (WARNING: There may be some spoilers):

Hannibal Lecter – A genius intelligence level forensic psychologist with a taste for human flesh, Anthony Hopkins’ portrayal of the cannibalistic serial killer is a superb one, displaying charisma and a menacingly smoothing voice, Hopkins’ take on the killer is what makes the movie.

His most evil moment? When he bites the nose off one of the prison guards and then proceeds to WEAR HIS FACE in order to escape from the FBI, crazy shit.

Agent Smith – Suited up with his trademark shades, Agent Smith is definitely not one to be trifled with. Created with the purpose of supressing the human rebellion, Agent Smith soon gets out of control when he faces off against Neo.

With his strong, polite tone of speaking alone, you know he means business, after all, “What good is a phone call if you are unable to speak?”

Keyser Söze – Like the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot, our next pick has acquired legendary or even mythical status. Posing as Roger “Verbal” Kint, Keyser Söze is probably the most devious villain on our list, pulling strings without anyone even knowing.

What makes him so evil? Well, the very story behind the legend, after killing his own wife and kids, gets vengeance of all his enemies and just like that, he’s gone forever.

Ivan Drago – As silent and deadly as a Russian winter and standing at a towering 6ft 5in and a Red Army captain, Ivan Drago is not someone you’d want to run into in a dark alleyway.

Uttering only a few lines that are guaranteed to induce fear in even the most hardened fighters, “The Siberian Express” lives up to his name, particularly in his fight against Apollo Creed, this cold-hearted fighter has no remorse for his opponents.

Angel Eyes AKA The Bad – Ruthless and cunning, Lee Van Cleef’s portrayal of Angel Eyes is one for the ages. With a bone dry voice, beady eyes and a pointed nose, you can tell he’s pure evil just by looking at him. The kind of man, who’d kill you just to see the look on your face, he may be called Angel Eyes, but his heart is as black as the devil’s. Although the clip is short, you know shit is about to go down when this guy gets off the horse.
