On June 8th, MTV Base Comedy Funhouse's Jason Patterson will be hosting a line-up of Black British comedians for Black Lives Matter at The Comedy Store, in support of the Stephen Lawrence Trust. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to the fund.
Borrowing its name from the Black Lives Matter movement in the US, the comedy show intends to continue the conversation of race, class and inequality in a satirical way, rooted in the experiences of the black comedic voices from across the UK. Marlon Davis, Ola, Funmbi Omotayo, Dane Baptiste, Prince Abdi and Nathan Caton will all be performing on the night.
At this point, where the world needs progressive discussion, there's no better time for such a promising show as this. Get your tickets right here.
