LOREEN
10 NOV
In May 2012, pop iconoclast Loreen changed the game with her electropop stomper, Euphoria. Not only did the aptly-named, emotionally-loaded banger cruise to victory at that month’s Eurovision Song Contest, but it also crashed into multiple charts worldwide, including the UK top 3. 11 years later, she’s back making history as the second person & only woman ever, winning the competition twice.
STEREOLAB
17 NOV
With their hypnotic rhythms and mesmerizing vocals, Stereolab became one of indie’s most distinctive and influential bands when they emerged in the early ’90s. The group celebrated strands of pop music — bossa nova, lounge-pop, movie soundtracks — that were traditionally banished from rock’s lineage. On early singles and albums such as 1993’s Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements, Stereolab combined ’60s pop melodies with an art rock aesthetic. By the time of 1996’s Emperor Tomato Ketchup, their sound incorporated jazz, hip-hop, and dance music.

Just like the album, the shows will be places for celebration, salvation and sanctuary on the dancefloor, with Romy joined by a personally curated selection of DJs.
