World War ZZZZZZ

New trailer for World War Z looks set to be a very expensive snooze fest.
The zombie phenomenon has taken hold. Books, comics, TV shows, movies and games have taken over the world, much like real zombies would. With this comes a generation of zombie fanatics. These people do not want to see the genre turned into some half-ass, money making machine just for the sake of it.
But it would appear that Hollywood has got its flesh rotting claws on this zombie spectacle and taken a huge bite out of nothing innovative. Based on the book by Max Brooks, the movie stars Brad Pitt as a UN worker travelling the world to try and find a way to stop the pandemic.
With a budget estimated to be around $125 million, this new addition to the zombie revival appears to have nothing going for it. What it seems to lack in creativity, originality and sticking to the aesthetic of the zombie genre it seems to have replaced with money. Lots and lots of money. And you can tell. Night Of The Living Dead cost $114,000. This was the original and best. What does that tell you?
A trailer is suppose to grab your attention, isn‘t it? This just makes me laugh. Will I still go and see it? Nope. I can wait for the DVD…to end up in Poundland.
