Hot tub attracts film buffs

Movie lovers, watch out for the new way to view films that is taking London by storm.
Cinema going is becoming increasingly different taking inspiration from all aspects of society. The latest craze to hit London is the Hot Tub Cinema which has used the idea of the rooftop cinema but added a few hot tubs to the mix.
You would be forgiven for thinking creator Asher Charman may be slightly crazy, but his idea has proven to be a phenomenal success. Originally it started as something for his friends to enjoy but having received great feedback Charman took to making it available to everyone.
Throughout the summer, the Hot Tub Cinema took over Netit360, an East London rooftop with a stunning view of the city, and proceeded to show favourites such as Top Gun and Anchorman. All the while audiences relaxed in hot water, sipping on booze. These events often continued into pool parties with a DJ playing songs into the night.
The idea has expanded further since it first began by providing private parties. Charman is also open to exploring other ideas. The team is currently putting together a programme for Autumn/Winter with October’s events still to be announced.
Prices begin at £25 and can reach £200 but who needs seats when you can have a hot tub? Just don’t drop your popcorn.
