Disney announces The Muppets sequel

Disney has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the 2011’s Oscar winning movie The Muppets.
The news was announced yesterday at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. James Bobin will once again direct the movie and he is co-writing the script with Nicholas Stoller.
Jason Segel will not come back as writer for the script. The How I Met Your Mother star has this to say about it: You know, my goal was to bring The Muppets back and I think I achieved that. It was half a decade of my life and I just want to take a minute to concentrate on more human related projects."
