Spending 2 hours a day on a side project can make something special
The key to any business is to manage your time effectively - do this and you are on the right track
In this world we only have a limited amount of time regardless of who you are. That means we are constantly having to juggle between work and our personal lives. Like so many people out there who are trying to pursue their dreams by working multiple jobs, or students working to support themselves whilst studying, the key to success is having good time management skills.
Don't waste time playing computer games or watching football - with a little hard work and patience you could be earning that football money.
It's said that “there are 24 hours in a day and you need 6 of these to sleep - that leaves 18 hours to follow your dream.”
In order to fully maximise your productivity, you need to plan out your days in order for you to manage your time effectively. This is especially important if you are working towards another career whilst supporting yourself with a job and whether it be full or part-time, that’s hours being taken out of your day.
This first thing to do is plan out your routine so you know how much of your time you have to use to work towards your goals. If like most people you have a full-time job, then that’s 8 hours of your 24 gone and that’s not even including the journey time to work and for most people it's an hour door to door so that leaves you with 14 hours left – minus your time to sleep and your now left with 8 hours provided you only sleep for 6.
You now have a few hours daily to work on your projects. Try to then plan and arrange them in a way which works best with your routine.
Once you get home from work that’s when the real work begins.
