Efya’s drops new official music video for ‘Best In Me’.
Amazing Ghanaian vocalist and songstress, Efya, has just released the much-anticipated visuals for her Award-Winning single ‘Best In Me’.
The song was a successful hit all around the world; the audio alone received 69,870 views on YouTube. Following the song's success, the singer decided to release a music video.
Efya took to twitter and other social networking sites to announce that the video premiere of her song ‘Best In Me’ would premiere on Friday 20th September 2013. The ‘#Gingam’ klan began a countdown as they restlessly waited for Efya’s ‘Best In Me’ music video to drop.
Yesterday, Efya’s fan base (#Gingam) went crazy as One Nation Entertainment released the video (which rapidly took over my timeline on twitter.)
The music video, which was directed by Big OJ Films, was not only a HOT video, but Efya also picked the perfect guy and familiar colleague, Sarkodie, to be her “love interest” in the video, which made the video very sexy. The video featured some items from Sarkodie’s clothing line ‘Sark’.
The Video, which has only been out for 24 hours, has already managed to clock 7,732 views - and still counting! I am 100% sure that the music video will rekindle the love which the song had when it was initially released.
I can finally say that the wait is over; the latest music video from Efya ‘Best In Me’ has arrived. After talking with most of the ‘Gingam’ klan, it seems like the video was actually worth the wait.
I don’t know a lot of African artists who can release a music video a year after the single's release and still get the lovely reception that Efya has received, so kudos to Efya.
For me personally, the wait was worth it; the song is a banger and the video has sex appeal. It featured two very talented artists Efya and Sarkodie, whom I love. The video was simple, yet captivating, which demonstrates the beauty in simplicity.
The video and the lyrics of the song are also completely synchronised, meaning that this video makes sense.
For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, do watch the video below:
