Just days after hitting back at rapper Lil Wayne via Twitter following the release of "Dedication 5", Pusha T has only aggravated the ongoing feud with the Young Money leader.
During his appearance on Thursday Night Live, Pusha T was asked about his thoughts on Lil Wayne’s “Dedictation 5”. Without a filter, he bluntly stated that the mixtape was “trash”.
Does this mean that Lil Wayne has lost it as an MC? The "My Name Is My Name" rapper Pusha T clearly is not impressed with Weezy’s music, hinting that Young Money is only a success due to creating commercially manufactured artists.
Both rappers have been feuding for a while. It started with Weezy exclaiming: “Fuck Pusha T” last year, following the release of Pusha T’s “Exodus 23:1”, a track that targeted Young Money’s artist Drake. This alleged 'diss provoked Lil Wayne to respond with his track “Goulish”, which Pusha T also then retorted was “trash”. There has not been a response from Pusha T, but maybe, breaking out as a solo artist under Kanye West’s wing, G.O.O.D Music protégé has been influenced by his mentor’s arrogance.
The Clipse's MC is preparing to drop his highly anticipated “My Name Is My Name” debut solo album on the 8th October. Hopefully it will be G.O.O.D Music and not the R.A.N.T music that his fans will be exposed to, otherwise Lil Wayne's judgements about him would only be self-inflicted.
