Introducing Happa - 15 Year Old Music Genius Monday 5th August 2013 | Christina Introducing Happa What were you doing when you were 15? For me it was a mix of revising for GCSE's and unsuccessfully attempting to get into the local nightclub. You might be able to top me, but I bet that most of you won't be able to say at that age that you've played alongside Jamie XX or been asked to do a guest mix for Mary Anne Hobbes XFM show, unless your name happens to be Samir Alikhanizadeh. Samir Alikhanizadeh aka. Happa is a music producer based in Leeds. His dance music is both percussion and bass heavy and is an exciting new sound. At just 15 he has played at venues such as The Warehouse Project and Canal Mills as well as festivals such as Tramlines and Glastonbury. Later this summer he's set to play at Outlook and Dimensions festivals in Croatia. What he's achieved at such a young age is incredible and he's definitely going to be one to watch. His remix of Four Tet, 'Jupiters' is definitely worth a listen as is his set 'Two and Two Make Five' which you can find below! Christina Hirst
