Leeds-based collective IMAGINARIUM step confidently into the next chapter of their journey with the launch of their brand-new record label. Their debut release, a four-track EP, showcases the depth and diversity of the collective’s sound—featuring music from residents Pete Melba (Planet Orange), Phil Warner (Plant & Deck / Pic N’ Mix), and Roya Brehl (Creatures of the Night / Last Days of Rome), alongside rising talent James Geeson, one half of the duo Le Frequency.
Opening the EP, Pete Melba delivers his signature brand of groovy tech house—skipping percussion, twinkling melodies, and an undercurrent of late-night darkness. Phil Warner follows with a driving, techno-leaning roller blending spacey pads, acid licks, and haunting vocal textures. On the flip side, Roya Brehl dives deeper into shadowy territory with cascading synths, eerie atmospheres, and percussive tension, before James Geeson closes the release with a hypnotic rework built around the classic Moonraker vocal, crafting a deep dancefloor chugger.
A well-rounded package from a collective firmly rooted in club culture, the first IMAGINARIUM release sets a high bar—one designed to captivate discerning diggers and ignite dancefloors from Leeds to beyond.
