T.I. to conquer America... Politically

Music is influential in our everyday lives depending on the type of message we receive from our favourite rappers. Some artists have lyrics denouncing injustice, others sing of love and others of everyday life. However, rappers like T.I are taking a stand and using his influence to take us on a political journey.
We’ve seen T.I's involvement during Obama’s campaign. Now the rapper has decided to join Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms' transition team, to support her initiatives and the city of Atlanta in which he grew up in.

The American rapper explained further why getting involved in politics is so important for him, "It is very important that we accept responsibility as leaders in this country. And the sooner we do that, the sooner we will see this country’s ways represent us. Right now, we might look at politics and say, ‘well, you know, politics don’t really represent me.’ That’s because there’s not enough of us involved. The more of us that get involved, the more this country’s ways will represent us."
