Peace talk mental health and depression in new single 'From Under Liquid Glass'
The Birmingham four-piece came out of hibernation earlier this month to bring us their new track, 'From Under Liquid Glass', which touches on the ever important topic of depression and mental health.
Posting on social media when the single was first released, frontman Harry Koisser explained: "I wrote the song during my most difficult spring in a long time. Peace have always been an explosion of happiness, but that isn’t reflective of every part of me or anyone for that matter, and this song, at it's most zoomed out, demonstrates that polarity; you can be a happy person and still take a pasting from your demons."
The single, as well as the new video, conjures up thoughts of pain, isolation, loneliness and depression. The subject of mental health is something that is slowly becoming more noticeable and talked about within mainstream media, with more and more musicians, actors and celebrities opening up to share their own struggles, in the hope that it helps others do the same.
