Jehst returns and we're up to the 44th Floor RnB/Hip Hop | Thursday 1st June 2017 | Phil Hip Hop Jehst rap YNRproductions billy green is dead The YNR Productions head honcho aka Billy Brimstone aka Jehst is back with '44th Floor', the lead single lifted from his forthcoming album 'Billy Green Is Dead'. Sharing its name with the classic Gil Scott-Heron track filled with scathing social commentary, Jehst's fourth studio produced LP will follow the trials and tribulations of a fictional 'average jo' style character at odds with the unjust world around him. The beat as produced by Maghreban perfectly suits Jehst's bars detailing the beautiful chaos that is Billy's life, with its heavy banks of sound and relentless nature adding to the overall chaotic feel of the track. Jehst, the self quoted 'snail-paced trailblazer', broke onto the scene after winning countless rap battles and stunning fans with his undisputably timeless 2002 debut 'Return of The Drifter'. He is often cited by commentators and players within the British scene as being a major force in both helping to keeping the scene alive and as a huge influence on the artists that went on to establish High Focus and Blah Records. The album will be Jehst's first LP in six years and this single will no doubt have all his fans salivating in anticipation. 'Billy Green Is Dead' drops June 16th! @PhillyTea
