Vegans worship at the Temple of Seitan
By now, you’ve probably heard of the latest new food phenomenon to hit London - the city’s first vegan fried chicken shop. Like London’s cereal cafe Cereal Killer and cat cafe, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium, the restaurant is causing a stir with its novel theme and menu.
The restaurant serves seitan, a vegan meat substitute made from wheat-gluten. It wraps it up in the delicious form of deep-fried, chicken-style goujons, serving it with sides like Coleslaw and chips.
Located in Hackney, called Temple of Seitan, the restaurant is sure to attract hordes of seitan worshippers.
